Last week i sent my CV to apply a job as
social media executive. I didn’t have idea about the job descriptions. I
think i just like sitting all day to in front of my laptop to see and
read what’s people shared at social media. And i love writing about my
experiences in my personal blog.
I received a text message from the owner not so long after i sent the email. He said that he want to meet me at a restaurant in the direction of north city. Fortunately, i was on my way to pick my nephews from their grandpa’s home. So i came to the restaurant with my ugly look and bring my nephews and my little brother. We didn’t bring enough money to order four meals for us. So i just ordered a pasta and a cup of tea for both my nephews, haha.
The owner explained about the salary and his company. It’s a local digital agency that helps the brands to achieve their goals and touch their customers by social media. He gave me a test to make a editorial plan for a Japanese food brand. I did it by myself and i was late 3 hours from the deadline. I just submit to God’s fate because that was my first work. I helped by my best friends to get some insights.
The day after i sent my editorial plan, he wanted to meet me at the same place. my little brother accompanied me to there. We bring more money to eat there. He said i should be signing the contract but he didn’t bring the file. So he just explained about the details of my job.
Last night he sent the brand guidelines about the Japanese food. I have to be handle the brand for a month. I have to make a good content to attractive the customers and gain more followers at social media. It’s little hard for me in the beginning. I feel so lonely when no response from the followers. But i keep posting all day long. Slow but sure, i think i know the type of the brand’s followers. I start to know the time when they want to give response or not. And i will more effort tomorrow because i want to do the best for my experience at work.
